My name is Quinn Davis and I’m a Geography major and GIS minor at Armstrong. I only just declared the major this year, but I am loving it! I’ve always enjoyed traveling, camping, and nature in all its forms, and I am excited to delve into the academic world of our physical environment. As a native of Savannah and an avid recycler, I am currently engaged in a grant-funded research project with Dr. Lin centered around the recycling programs here in Savannah and Chatham County. Through spatial analysis, I’m investigating whether socioeconomic factors are related to recycling participation and I aim to fill the gap in information about the recycling habits of our communities. This is only the beginning of my geographical journey, but I hope to use my skills to educate and inspire others about our physical world!
